Generally, I only use my phone to text or take surreptitious photos when I am on the CTA. However, since I was on the elevated tracks, and my phone actually rang (or rather buzzed), I couldn't resist. It was my MA counterpart returning my call. All play, no business, much to the evident amusement of the other people on the train. I made one guy laugh out loud with the phrase, "What's shakin' bacon?". And I totally called him out on it. Later, as we discussed the merits of chicken and waffles and then chicken and gravy, I made another guy chuckle. Apparently he was from Atlanta, who gave the chicken & gravy his stamp of approval.
Can't say I got all that much done, but I'm glad to see that I could make two people laugh.
