Running errands

After doing a whole lotta nothing yesterday, it was good to put on grown-up clothes and go outside to get some stuff done. Like visiting a Wachovia ATM, which I have learned to live without since moving to Chicago. Nice to be able make deposits directly, instead of having to mail them and wait for them to arrive and get posted. Hit the post office. Dyed my hair/turned the tub a nice shade of navy. And taught the Dude some tango.

He didn't have to lay it on so thick! He wanted me to show him some tango, because he saw some in a play he was working on, and thought it was cool. I'm sure the neighbors were confused, but it was pretty cool. He's a quick study with nice rhythm. So much better than monster cha-cha.

Currently, I am slowly depositing my accumulated stuff in the trunk of my car, and raiding the house for TP, tissues, cold meds, and food. It's like grocery shopping, only better, because it's free! And I wait for the Steak Hour.
