1st snow

It's so pretty out! The snow started falling around dark, and it's stacking up nicely. Not the pissy little storm this weekend. We're talking inches. And it makes everything else lovely. Saw a nice scenic moment on my way home - people walking home from the train, past a Christmas tree lot in the snow. When I got off the bus, I got to walk past the soccer field by myself in the city quiet, with the snow falling in the incandescent amber lights, and white uplights by a Gothic dorm.

A nice change from this morning, which was ugly. Between the dearth of temp gigs and the flakiness of my grad interview, I am going crazy. Because when I finally DO get offered a gig, it conflicts with my POTENTIAL interview. Grr. I was called in on a pinch-hit reception gig. I just wish I was paid more than $11.50 for getting there in 30 minutes. And the whole "upper end business casual" is crap. Because a) I don't wear the suit for anything less than $14, and b) the other "girls" wore sweaters and cords.
