I'm watching America's Ballroom Challenge on PBS. I love it. And in addition to the amazing young dancers, I just heard a couple of familiar tunes in the International Standard. Who knew you could dance standard to "Smells Like Teen Spirit"? In shredded jeans and t-shirts. They even incorporated headbanging! And then the next show dance was a tango. To "Sin Rumba" off a CD I have only ever seen (and bought from) Argentina. I felt so cool!
But I think "Dontcha Wish Your Girlfriend" was a bit trashy. And oh puke. "Memory" as Viennese. Yawn.
