A different kind of hate

I am watching American Ballroom Challenge, which features not only professional dancers, but also younger demos. Including a pair of 11 year olds who dance a better tango than I ever will. They have precision and polish and maturity. Stunning. Reminded me of the little boy in Buenos Aires who couldn't get any of the little girls to dance with him. And he was amazing! And I hate them.

Watching this really makes me miss dancing. I love dancing, in any form. And I haven't done it in so long. Certainly not that well. *sigh* I want to get hooched out and bust my groove. Then again, I will never be the all-legs and fringe kinda girl.

But this has made me laugh out loud. Mostly at the "Splish Splash" swing, which involved a guy in a robe, shower cap and bunny slippers (and Sponge Bob boxers). Hilarious, playful, and the fogies hated it.
