For the first time in a long time, I have actually gotten a temp gig. 'Bout damn time. However, I am out of practice (and out of cash on my card).
So I got up early, patiently waited for the bathroom, and made sure to finish my breakfast in time to get to the bus stop early. But the bus schedule has conspired to make me late, which makes me look unprofessional, makes me grumpy. I guess I should be glad it was above freezing as I waited for 25 minutes for the bus that should have been there 20 minutes earlier. Erg.
I called my gig to apologize for my tardiness, but fortunately, they were really laid back. *sigh* I guess it's back to the #22.
